It's very late for this; but at least I got it yeah? About the specs? don't you know already :)
Phone comes in a very unusual packing; it has that gaming look :) and by any means this does not look like a budget device packing.
I got a honor play recently and unboxing experience did indeed felt like a budget device.
What we have in the box? Well, Usual stuff are there like manuals, sim ejection tool, charging brick viz 18 W and USB type A to type C cable.
The phone feels so cold in hand, so solid and so heavy. I love the way metal built devices feel. Glass build just cannot imitate the same feel in the hand. I find metal more premium than glass, cuz glass is glass and glass breaks. Right?
Lets talk about whats where on the device;
- The front is housing a huge 6.65” FHD+ Amoled panel with 2340 x 1080 pixels and a buttery 90 Hz refresh rate, dual front firing speakers (even in 2019), notification led, a 16 MP single selfie shooter and some bezels which do look bad, but they are here for a reason.. and it is pretty darn good. The screen to body ratio stays at 80.5% and this beauty is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The bottom one is the main speaker and the top is a smaller one for highs; still very loud than a traditional earpiece.
- The back looks interesting.. very interesting indeed. It looks like some device which comes from future. These accents and the shape definitely catches eyes and will definitely make people come up to you and ask what is this thing.
We've a RGB strip, nubia led logo, cupper vents and the fan suction, secondary mic, a physical fingerprint scanner; oh and the single camera viz a sony imx sensor if you're even bothered about it.
-To the right are touch sensitive triggers, fan vent, volume rockers and the power button.
-To the left is the sim tray and the mod pins. On top, we've headphone jack. Oh yes. And at bottom, a 3rd speaker(man, they're serious about sound), C type port and primary mic.
All these awesomeness coupled with some great specs(really great), is bound to give some good experience to both gamer and non gamer.
the device starts at 35,999 INR in India and at this price point, this sounds like a pretty good deal. Stay Tuned, we'll come up with a review, from both gaming and non gaming perceptive soon.
Thanks for reading :) We really appreciate the time you spent here. Your feedback is always welcome.
